(1) According to section 17 of the Act, if someone wants to pay compensation to any person, organization or proposer, he can submit an application to the Chief District Officer of the concerned district to reveal what kind of damage the applicant has suffered due to any work done by such person, organization or proposer.
(2) If any application is received in accordance with sub-rule (1), the chief district officer shall examine the application and the actual situation of the related place as per the requirement and assess the actual damage to the applicant after taking the opinions and suggestions of the relevant office located in the district and if an inspector is posted in the said district. Will have to do.
(3) If for any reason it is not possible to assess the damage according to sub-rule (2), the chief district officer shall send the application to the relevant agency within thirty days of receiving the relevant application for suggestions on the matter.
(4) If any application is received in accordance with sub-rule (3), the relevant agency shall investigate the matter and send such application back to the relevant Chief District Officer with opinion and suggestions as necessary.
(5) If the damage has been assessed according to sub-rule (2), and if suggestions are requested from the relevant body, after receiving the suggestions according to sub-rule (4), the Chief District Officer shall determine the compensation according to that suggestion.
(6) The Chief District Officer shall make a decision regarding the compensation within fifteen days from the date of receipt of the suggestion from the relevant agency for the application received for compensation as per sub-rule (3) and within sixty days of receiving the application for compensation if the application is not sent to the relevant agency.
(7) In relation to determining the compensation, the Chief District Officer shall bring the concerned person, institution or proposer to appear before him and make him testify, make him submit any document, equipment, device, etc. will have the right to do .
(8) The amount of compensation determined by the Chief District Officer in accordance with this rule should be reasonable and reasonable.
